Greg launched Zero to One Ventures after spending over five years in the Venture Capital world where he witnessed founding teams consistently wrestling with how to prioritize their most scarce and valuable resource: time.

Since the beginning of 2018, Greg has played a pivotal role in the crypto industry by identifying and recruiting the talent behind some of the industry's biggest successes. He possesses a deep knowledge of the industry’s direction and the key ingredients needed for companies to thrive. In sports terms - he helps companies skate to where the puck is going.

Observing the most common asks during his VC time to be 1) help with hiring 2) help with strategic partnerships and 3) assistance finding product-market fit, Greg founded Zero to One to provide high-quality hands-on consultative services to address those asks and ignite innovation and growth.

Now unencumbered by speed and bureaucracy, Greg is able to provide full access to all the knowledge gleaned from his tenure as the first Talent Partner for both Chapter One and a16z crypto (where the portfolio grew from less than 10 companies to over 100 during his tenure).

Prior to his time in venture capital, Greg held hands-on leadership roles across companies at various stages, industries, and geographies - from a bootstrapped video chat company to Google, from gaming to TradFi to web3, and from Silicon Valley to Stockholm to Israel. Greg calls on the breadth of this experience as he partners with founders to design recruiting infrastructure and build world-class teams that alleviate people-related stress.

Greg began his academic career at Brown University and holds a BA from Tulane and an MS from Pepperdine. In his spare time, you can find Greg at the gym or cycling the roads of northern California, seeking out the best gluten-free eateries, and headbanging in the front row of metal concerts.
